Basketball Heaven

Wow the last day of the month already, Can't believe it. Christmas is just around the corner and I'm not ready, but then are you really ever ready? If you are anything like me you just quit. I was busy at work today end of the month and there is always things to finish up plus I had one appt. out of the office. Christie, Statia and I went to lunch together today and you guessed it Mexican. I came home from work and got into my favorite over sized sweats and am now watching both Indiana Hoosiers and Indiana Pacers. They are on at the same time on different channels but no problem for me,I am the queen of flipping channels. I use to go to about 6 or 8 IU games every year my Friend Teresa is a huge Bobby Knight fan and we both really enjoyed going to the games there is nothing like seeing a college Basketball game in Assembly Hall, I know I graduated from Ball State, and I do go to those games sometimes but IU is in a different league. Everyone have a great December and Winter is only 21 days away(yuck)-- Stacey Out--

The year of the Snake

Well what can I say about today, I guess it was an ok Tuesday. I went to work and was in the office until lunch then had several appts. out of town. Karla, Tara, Chrisite and I ate Chinese today it was pretty good and we enjoyed reading the placemats about our birth year and what animal we are according to the Chinese, watch out because I am a snake. I stopped and got gas because some of the stations around had already raised their prices to 2.09 a gallon. I came home from work and had some dinner,did the dishes and then went up to a friend of my grandmothers to help her undestand and decide what to do about the medicare drug benefit, I gave her some advise and what knowledge I have about it and it went pretty well, I guess my grandmother has told several of her friends that I would help them if they needed it so this just may be the tip of the iceberg(lol). I stopped on my way home and helped mom at the bank and am now just watching the Pacer game. -- Stacey Out--

I had several apppts. out of town today and did some small decorating at work for Christmas. Christie and I went to Mexican place for lunch and we also ran back out to phone place as she sent her phone in got it back and still not working right. I came home and put on my colts gear and went to play Euchre at my Aunts club, we had baked Spaghetti ,salad and for dessert sugar cream cake and I won a prize, a little jeweled box. I got home to see the 2nd qr on of the Colts game, but I also watched it playing cards. Wow it's really late, bed for me.--Stacey Out--

Quiet Day at Home

AHHHHHH a Sunday at home, after 3 busy days it was a nice break. I went to Church today and we had 7 kids today in Sunday School. I came home and later in the Afternoon my grandparents had my dad and I down for dinner, we had beef and noodles they were the best. I came home and boxed all the gifts I have bought so far, but I have not gotten the paper out of attic yet. After my mother got home from cleaning the Lawyer office we finished our tree, here is a picture. I watched a lot of ballgames today,the pacers , cincinnati and Seattle and they all won. I watched a christmas movie on the Hallmark Channel, took a bath and talked to Patrick on the phone until the battery went dead, I think a new phone needs to go on my Christmas list (lol). I only have one thing on it right now an Ipod and something tells me I know where I can get some music to put on it. Yes- I'm shopping again

Saturday and Shopping that the combination for the next couple of weeks because I need to christmas shop and thats when I can do it. My mom , grandmother and I went to New Castle to a couple of stores. I got 5 gifts today all my aunts and a couple of other people. I bought me 1 thing a sweather that came with a matching purse, I had never seen such a thing and of course since it was only 10 dollars had to buy it. We stopped at Bob Evans or as my grandfather likes to call it the Red Barn for lunch and I had breakfast. We came home from shopping and I helped mom at the bank and ran down to the grocery in town, can you believe they did not have grapes. I came home from the store changed clothes and my dad and I went to another ball game and from the games I have been to , I think we are in for a long long season. I know some of you are thinking WOW she goes to a lot of ballgames and you probably think its weird but I have always gone to our High School games and I guess you really have to be from a small town in Indiana to "get it",if you have not seen the movie "Hoosiers" thats the feeling!! Rent it, its a great movie and it was shot right here in Indiana and some of boys on the team I know, they went to Ball State. I came home from the ballgame and now listening to the Christmas show from Patrick, Wow it's really getting me in the Christmas spirit.-- Stacey Out--

Black Friday

Well if its the day after Thanksgiving, I must be shopping, yip you guessed it. I went to Indianapolis shopping today at Washington Square mall with mom and grandmother. I bought 1 gift all day, just did not find what I was looking for. My grandmother bought quite a lot, so the day was not a total loss. We got home about 5:45 and for some reason my feet were killing me and I wore comfortable shoes. I got home ate a quick bite actually I had some left over turkey and then changed clothes and left again. My dad and I went to the high school girls game tonight and then stopped by the bank on the way home and helped my mom and now finally home for the night. --Stacey Out--

GOBBLE GOBBLE GOBBLE

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE------ I hope everyone had a great day. I started out the day with getting all 4 ,yes 4 papers that we get everyday, we get the Anderson, Muncie, New Castle and Indianapolis papers. The papers weighed a ton with all the sale ads in them today and of course I checked out them all. I then threw on some sweats and ran down to my grandparents for a quick visit as they were going to my other uncles for lunch. I came home carried all the stuff to the car that we were taking to Thanksgiving dinner, that is the only draw back with having to go somewhere for dinner all the stuff you have to carry in and out. We got to my uncles down the road about 1:30 and ate about 2 . We had so much food you cant believe it there is pictures of all the food here along with pictures of some of my cousins. The conversation at Thanksgiving dinner with the family always seems to go the same way. I wonder if it is just my crazy family or if it is normal to start out with the usual sports, family gossip, current events then it slowly turns to sex, farts, bowel movments and the male anatomy --OMG the stuff I learn about my family(haha). We started bingo about 5 and it ended about 8 with some small breaks for eating again of course. I did win some things there is a picture of those too. The one story about bingo was my 2 yr old cousin Halle was sitting on my lap "helping" me with bingo and she got up and off my lap and what was left but a big wet spot(lol). The thanksgiving is never really over until cousin Billy shows up with the gun(check out that picture !!) We got home about 8:45, WOW what a fun day !! Can we do it again next year? Well now the shopping really begins.--Stacey Out--

Thanksgiving Eve Snow

Oh,what a surprise to wake up to snow this morning, WOW it was coming down pretty good for a while, but it melted fast, its just a teaser of whats to come. Winter is here it is suppose to be 0 with the wind chill in the morning, ouch. I worked in the office today and finished up some things. Statia, Christie and I went to eat Mexican for lunch, see you need to eat some spicy south of the border food before the big American feast tomorrow. I came home and relaxed for the evening, and No I am not making anything for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow, I will leave that to the professionals, like my mother. I have talked to Patrick on the phone today while he survived grocery shopping on the day before Thanksgiving(lol) and now am listening to his music show. Basketball and Paradise

Well Good Evening!! I had a fun day. The day started out very unsual for me, I baked cinnamon rolls and I know you did not think I had it in me, well I do,I just don't do it a lot. I took the rolls, fruit, juice and milk into work today for a nice breakfast, everybody seemed to love it. I worked in the office till about 11 then went out of town for an appt. I got back to the office and ran and got some lunch at Wendy's for Patrick and me, he was in our office to have a meeting . I left the office about 2 and did a quick couple of appts then went home for the day at 3 pm. I came home changed clothes and my friend Teresa and her family picked me up about 4:30 and we went to Indianapolis for the night. We stopped and ate at Cheeseburger in Paradise then went to a girls college basketball game at the Univesity of Indianapolis, 2 of the players tonight were from our high school team that won the state tourney last year. It was good to see them play again. I had a good night got home about 10:45. One more day of work before the holiday.Everyone be safe--Stacey Out-

Monday all day---

Monday Monday- what a long day guess I'm in a hurry for the long weekend and holiday. I worked in town today but had an appt. out of the office. I got a lot of paperwork done today so I felt productive. I went to lunch at Arby's and ran some errands. I came home and my friend and neighbor came over and wanted some cd's burned so I did that and then i fixed my desk here where my computer is there was a nut missing and yes i fixed it on my own and also got all my thanksgiving cards ready to mail, i'm a big card sender and of course for my little cousins ,I put a little surprise in it. I went down to the grocery in town then stopped at my grandparents to see their tree, here is picture of it, my mom and grandmother decorated it today. I helped mom at the bank and came home took a nice long bath and talked to patrick on the computer. Well that is it for today, Come back for more of the drama tomorrow(haha). -Stacey Out-

How about those indy teams!! What a Sunday, The weather was pretty good it was in the 50's and sunny. I got up went church and we had 7 kids in Sunday school. I came home changed into the Colts attire for the day and my mom and I went to Anderson and Elder Beerman for their 25% off sale. I bought 3 more christmas gifts and again nothing for me. I came home and went to a jewerly Party that Teresa's sister Rhonda was having, I'm sorry I forgot to take a picure of all the jewerly she had out on the table it was kinda neat with all the necklaces, rings, earrings braceletts that you could imagine and every kind of stone and color. I picked out a blue stone slide that I already have a necklace that it will go on. She also had a pretty good spread of food with a vegetable plate and a chocolate fountain that you run strawberries through. I left there and came home and watched the colts win again, after the game was over we put up the Christmas tree in the living and put on the lights and of course there was a strand of lights out always happens what a pain to have to check every bulb to find the one that does not work. I am now going to watch one of those sappy Christmas movies that are always on this time of year, God am I Really ready for those emotional hallmark commericals and movies that always bring a tear to my eye. Well another weekend over and back to work tommorrow, but it will be a short week because we are off thurs and fri for the holiday. Everyone enjoy your Week.-Stacey Out--

Walk the Shopping Line

Hi Everyone! Yes I'm back again. Not much new to say today . I'ts Saturday so yes I was shopping and bought nothing for myself , I know I know SHOCKING. I got up went to the bank post office and stopped by my grandparents. My mom and I started out in Muncie and went to the K-mart there to exchange something and bought my grandparents decorations for their tree. We then went Anderson and had lunch at Ruby Tuesday and stopped and shopped at the new Marshalls that opened up this week, I even bought 3 christmas presents for 3 more cousins. We finished up shopping by stopping at Deals, it is a dollar store and got all the bingo prizes for Thanksgiving . Our family always plays bingo and cards for prizes so we all have to bring some , there is a picture of what I bought today, Does anyone want to come play with us?? It's loads of fun(lol). In the evening we went the movies and saw Walk the Line, the movie about Johnny Cash. I am not really a fan of his music but the film and story was really good. Today I worked in the office until noon then Patrick came over and Christie, Patrick and I went to lunch at Pizza king, as always laughed and had a great time. I then left and went out of town for afternoon appts. and on my way home I stopped and had my nails re-painted, they did it for free and no problems this time. I came home watched the Hooisers play, the pacers play and helped my mom at the bank. I love this time of year basketball all the time and all levels high school, college and pro. Hungry for Something

It's Thursday already? Wow the days just fly by,I guess I'm having way to much fun, I wish. I worked in the office all day today . Statia and I had lunch at Panara. I stopped and got ny nails done tonight the color"Hungry for my honey". I am always really careful with them and let them dry a long time and can you believe 3 of them are screwed up so I am going to have to go and have them re-painted, ticks me off. I stopped at Target and then just went home had some shrmip for dinner and thats about it. Thanks to Patrick for fixing a problem with my e-mail there's that button again(lol). My mom is starting to put up Christmas decorations, She said she needs to start early to get it all done, I guess we will put up the tree this weekend,whether we want to or not -Stacey Out

Retirement Party

Wow was it cold today, I was not ready for the wind and the cold and the snow flurries that fell today but it's here so I guess I will deal with it. I had appt. most of the day and was only in the office for about 45 minutes. I started out with appt all morning out of town then ran into the office and then left and headed to our main office for a retirement party for a co-worker that works in our office. I stopped and had lunch at Subway then ran some errands in Muncie and headed to the hospital in Muncie for an appt. You will never believe what happened to me at the hospital . First let me say that I had on cream boots and a cream skirt and cream tights, so now you have a visual, Ok. I'm walking in the lobby and some guy comes up to me and starts singing " these boots are made for walking" and I thought to myself is that the Nancy Sinatra version or the Jessica Simpson version(lol) Crazy. I then left the hospital and went to our main office for the party , I will miss Nan so much I worked with her for about 7 years . The picture is of all the people I work with . I came home and then went to my aunts and got my hair cut and highlighted, I'm a blonde again. I stopped and helped my mom at the bank and got gas. Oh and an update, my mother found a tree at K-mart for my grandmother. It is a 4 foot flocked tree with lights and berries (hmmm). Hello Everyone , How is everybody? Thanks Kim for helping me add my picture and oh Patrick too ,God I love that Patrick fix me Button. I went back to work today after having 4 days off and jumped right in had some appt. in town and answered a lot of phone messages and e-mails that is the worst thing about being off work people don't stop wanting you(hahaha). Statia, Christie and I went to Mexican place for lunch today and I really wanted to stop on my way home and get my nails done but there were tornado warnings all around and my friend Teresa called and told me to get home because it was going to get nasty. I will go on Thursday to get them done as tomorrow I become a Blonde Again, no jokes please(lol). I stayed in tonight and between Kim and Patrick I got my picture on my profile. Shot Up For the Flu

Hello Everyone first thank you all for reading my blog everyday and I hope you are liking the new set-up, hey have you checked out my audio post i'ts me in case you have never heard my voice , kinda cool. I have copied all my old notes so if anyone wants to see what I have been up too for the last 3 months go right ahead. I was off work today to go to the Dr so I got up around 8:30 and started working on posting all my old blogs,Patrick said he would buy me dinner if I got them all done today and its done so we will see if he pays up. I had a Dr appt. at 11 am and yes I was there till 4:30 and my only defense of still staying with him is He has been my Dr for 20 years, I get free meds and I am so entertained in the waiting roomOMG some Jerry Springer moments along with jokes and stories, and oh I got hit on and some he guy gave me his number and said call him before he has heart surgery next week(lol omg). I was outside of the Dr office talking to Patrick on the phone and 2 horses went walking down the middle of the street so I took a pictuure, what I should have taken a picture of is yesterday I went by a house down the road and could you believe 2 dead deer hanging out the back of a jeep, WOW I really do live in Hick town. I came home from the Dr and then had to go to Chruch for our monthly meeting. I stopped and helped mom after the meeting and ran into my Grandparents and picked up some brownies, Well that's about it for today and back to work tomorrow.--Stacey out- Keep Reading me!!

Hello, How was Everyone's Sunday? Do you like this new blog of mine? I'm still tweeking it so bare with me for a while. I got up this morning and went to chruch and we had 7 kids today for Sunday School. I stayed today for the Chili lunch at church then came home and got on my Colts gear and sat down and watched the game, WOW it's so fun watching them this year. My mom came from from cleaning the lawyer's office in town and we decided to go to Kohl's to check on some Christmas gifts. I had a 30% off coupon no way was I going to let that go to waste. I finally bought some Christmas today . I bought my 3 uncles something, and 4 of my couisns so I'm on my way,can you believe that all the stuff that is on my bed I bought for 138.oo and of course I found two pair of pants for myself. I came home ate some dinner, took a bath,watched some TV and talked to Patrick on the phone. I'm off tomorrow for a Dr Appt. so everyone have a great week-Stacey Out-

Christmas in Pendelton

S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y- NIGHT-- Does anyone but me remember the Bay City Rollers, (haha) showing my age again. It was beautiful Saturday very sunny and warm for a November day. My mom and I started out at the Anderson Cemetary putting Christmas flowers on my great-grandparents grave then went on to Pendelton Ind. a town near Anderson that every year has a sort of holiday festival the town is all decorated, they have a parade,carolers, Santa and they even blow in snow. We went through all the shops and stopped and had lunch at one of my mom's favorite places, The Cabbage Rose. We got home about 3:30 and then about 5 my friend Teresa called and said I will be there in 5 to pick you up for the girl's basketball game in Indianapolis. YES its here my favorite time Basketball is back. I love it all high school, college Pro. She teaches at the high school so we go to a lot of games. They lost but its just the first game, we stopped and ate on the way home and I got home at about 10:30. I then watched the end of the Pacer game what a heart breaker. It was a busy and fun day again did not buy much shopping except for soem cards. I will keep looking. GO COLTS 9-0 after Tomorrow --Stacey Out--

Veteran's Day

Today was a beautiful day in Indiana sunny and not too bad for the middle of November. I had a rough night, I woke up at 3 am and for some reason started wheezing and could not catch my breath, it really scared me and I don’t have asthma so not sure why but I sat up and took a few deep breaths and it stopped but then I could not get back to sleep. I got up around 8 am felt good and got dressed and my mother and I decided to try and do some Christmas shopping since neither of us had to work today. We went to Carmel first and stopped at Stein Mart and then went to Clay Terrace an outside mall. We found nothing to buy at all. We then went to the Fashion mall and ate at Cheesecake Factory and can you believe we had to wait for over a ½ hr at 3:00 pm. We stopped at TJ Maxx at Castleton and again found nothing. I’m starting to get discouraged. I came home and watched the Pacers win and soaked in the bath for a while. Everyone enjoy your weekend, Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do(lol)—Stacey Out-
