My Last 3 Days
Friday May 5, 2006--- I was sick in bed most of the day--Thanks to my friends that cared enough to check on me and make sure I was still alive, it was touch and go for a while...
Saturday May 6, 2006--- I was awakened this morning witha call from my cousin Angie at 7:50 am. She asked if I was feeling better and I said yes then she wondered if I would mind going to Pendelton and watching my cousin Brandon play baseball , he had been sick all night and was going to try to play she wanted someone to be there for him and neither her or her husband Chris could go, I had planned on going to Pendelton anyway to get car plates so I said I would . I left at 9:30 got my car plates for 250.00 dollars and then looked around the shops in town for a few minutes until time for the ballgame. Brandon did not play until the 5th inning, but he pitched and did pretty good. I left there at about 2:00 then went to Anderson to the grocery and got a call from Teresa wondering if I would run to Indianapolis with her for a few and she wanted to go to a certain shoe store, I left my car at the grocery and she picked me up. We went to the shoe store, and kohls then headed home, she dropped me off at my car at 6. I ran home changed clothes and my parents and I went to my cousins Chris's graduation party, he graduated today from Anderson University with a business Degree. I had a great time at the party had the whole family there with a cookout and bon fire. I was sitting there thinking how lucky I am to have such a great family, they are always there when you need them, they don't judge you , or put you down they just love you for who you are. I sometimes think I am missing out not having kids or brothers and sisters but I realized I am very happy with what I have. I don't hate myself, or my life and I have nothing to complain about.
Sunday May 7, 2006-- I got up and went to chruch we had 5 kids in Sunday school today. I came home and hung around the house and did some research on the internet on the Medicare drug plan for my dad. He has worked at the same job for about 50 years since he was in high school and always had great insurance medical, dental and eye and last month all of a sudden the company decided they could just not afford to give insurance any longer . It was a big shock for both my parents so my dad is getting on medicare and my mom has some small insurance coveage until she can get on medicare in January. It is sad the the ecomomy in this country has gotten to this point. My mom and I ran to Andserson had some dinner at Cracker Barrel and then I washed my car and came home. I went over the plans with my dad for drug coverage and he now just needs to make a decision. I hope everyone has a great week ---Stacey out--
